1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Vacado platform and services ("Service") operated by Vacado ("we," "us," or "our") at vacado.app. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.


2. Description of Service

Vacado is a vacation rental calendar sync tool that connects and synchronizes your property listings across multiple platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Agoda. Our Service is designed to help short-term rental hosts and property managers avoid double bookings by keeping availability calendars in sync in real time.

Users who register and connect their rental accounts may receive the following types of SMS communications from Vacado (where consent is provided):

  • Account & Onboarding Messages: Welcome messages, setup instructions, and account verification notices.

  • Sync Status Notifications: Alerts when a calendar sync is completed, updated, or encounters an issue.

  • Booking Conflict Alerts: Notifications when a double booking or calendar conflict is detected.

  • Billing & Subscription Notices: Payment confirmations, renewal reminders, and invoice delivery.

  • Customer Support Messages: Responses to help requests and follow-up communications.

  • Promotional Messages (marketing consent required): Special offers, new feature announcements, plan upgrade promotions, and referral incentives.


3. SMS Messaging Terms

Opting In

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox on our registration or contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Vacado at the number provided. Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not required to use the Vacado platform.

Opting Out

You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Simply reply STOP to any SMS message from Vacado. After you send "STOP," we will send you a final confirmation message to confirm you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you wish to re-subscribe, simply sign up again as you did the first time and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Rates and Frequency

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to or from you. Message frequency varies depending on your account activity and notification settings. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Account Registration

To use Vacado, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • All activity that occurs under your account.

  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Service.


5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Vacado only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the Service to transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing content.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of our software.

  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.


6. Third-Party Integrations

Vacado connects with third-party platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Agoda via iCal and API integrations. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party platform.


7. Subscription and Billing

Vacado may offer free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the applicable rate. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.


8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Vacado platform — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Vacado and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.


9. Disclaimers

The Vacado Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

  • Calendar sync will be instantaneous or always reflect real-time availability across all connected platforms.

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vacado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, double bookings, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.


11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vacado and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.


12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].


13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification and update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
